"Working with Mrs. Williams proved to be very beneficial in effectively finding a job that both excited and stimulated me. I, like many students, had never had to face the challenge of interviewing and applying for a steady 9-to-5, which meant I had no job experience. Needless to say, finding a “first job” is both exciting and overwhelming. Mrs. Williams helped put together a résumé that allowed me to approach interviews with confidence. Along with the résumé, we discussed challenges in my life that built skills that translated directly to the workplace. These life challenges proved to be the answer to my lack of experience and provided something to draw on when asked about job skills. Confidence in my résumé, along with a general understanding of what would be asked during my interviews, was a successful combination.
